# Introduction to eBabylonian

Welcome to the eBabylonian course! This book is designed for historians and students with a general background who wish to learn Akkadian (specifically Babylonian) through reading exercises of different text genres.

Here, we will focus less on extensive grammatical memorization and more on practical methods to deal with ancient sources, read texts directly, and perform textual analysis, supported by digital humanities tools.
